Children’s Ensembles
Youth Choir
Mixed voice ensemble open to children and youth K-12. Focuses on reading music, improving aural skills, and singing with proper vocal technique in parts. Ability to read music or prior experience not necessary to join. Rehearses on Sundays from 6:00--6:30 pm. Performs occasionally at Sunday morning worship services, in addition to a Christmas musical and Easter concert.
Children’s Bell Ensemble
Handbell ensemble open to all children elementary-school aged. Focuses on learning the basics of reading music and playing instruments. The goal is to prepare children for a youth handbell ensemble (to be formed). Bells used for the children’s bell ensemble are designed for young children; they are lightweight and cannot be damaged easily. Rehearses on Sundays before Sunday School from 9:30--10:00 am.
