INTRODUCTION
Johns Island Presbyterian Church is far more than simply a historic
sanctuary
in a beautiful Lowcountry setting. We are a living, vigorous, active
community of faith, committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ. While we
recognize that many couples are initially attracted by the charm and
simple
elegance of our facility, we believe that this alone is not a
sufficient
reason to seek permission to be married at Johns Island Presbyterian
Church.
The policy below spells out our understanding of Christian marriage. It
also
spells out those steps which are required in order to secure permission
to be
married here. Read it carefully and prayerfully, if you are interested
in
seeking permission to be married at Johns Island Presbyterian
Church...
