INTRODUCTION
Johns Island Presbyterian Church is far more than simply a historic sanctuary in a beautiful Lowcountry setting. We are a living, vigorous, active community of faith, committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ. While we recognize that many couples are initially attracted by the charm and simple elegance of our facility, we believe that this alone is not a sufficient reason to seek permission to be married at Johns Island Presbyterian Church. The policy below spells out our understanding of Christian marriage. It also spells out those steps which are required in order to secure permission to be married here.
