Wedding Policy

Johns Island Presbyterian Church is a living, vigorous, active community of faith, committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ.  The charm and simple elegance of our Sanctuary make it an ideal setting for Christian marriage.  Marriage is one of the most momentous occasions in anyone's life and we are delighted that you are considering using our facility for your wedding.  Our wedding policy outlines the process established by our session to direct couples as they prepare for marriage.  Please read it carefully and prayerefully.

Baptismal Policy

Through Jesus Christ, God commanded His Church to Baptize.  Baptism is a sacrament, an outward sign given to us by our Lord, which demonstrates an inward reality. Baptism initiates us into the Church; bestows the promise of God's favor and blessing upon us; assures us that God forgives our sins, and calls us to new life.
